His writing is shaped by military experience, years in physical security leadership, and a lifelong commitment to understanding how character is formed under pressure.

He does not write to glorify war or dramatize conflict. Instead, his work focuses on what remains after the noise fades—the lessons carried forward, the weight of responsibility, and the enduring influence of decisions made in difficult moments.

Gregory’s debut book, When the Smoke Lifts, blends fiction with lived experience to examine the personal and moral terrain shaped by service.
