We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Because many books sold through this website are signed or personally inscribed, return eligibility depends on the type of item purchased.

Returns of Signed, Non-Personalized Books

Signed books that have not been personalized or inscribed to a specific person may be returned within 30 days of delivery, provided they are unused, undamaged, and in their original condition.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the book arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect. Original shipping charges are non-refundable except when the return results from an error by Shadow Horizon Press.

Please contact us before returning an item so that we can provide return instructions.

Personalized & Inscribed Books

Books containing a personalized inscription, dedication, name, message, or other customization requested by the customer are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

This does not apply if we made an error in the requested personalization or the book arrived damaged or defective. In those cases, we will make it right.

Please carefully review all names, spelling, and inscription requests before submitting your order. Personalized text will generally be written as submitted.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged, defective, contains the wrong item, or contains a personalization error made by us, please contact us within 14 days of delivery.

We may request photographs of the item and packaging so that we can evaluate the issue. Depending on the circumstances, we will provide a replacement, refund, or other appropriate resolution at no additional cost to you.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.

Orders may be canceled for a full refund before they have been shipped or personalized. Once a personalized inscription has been completed or an order has shipped, cancellation may no longer be possible.

Refunds

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow time for your bank or card issuer to process and post the refund after it has been issued.

Return Shipping

For eligible discretionary returns, customers are responsible for the cost of returning the item. We recommend using a trackable shipping method.

If the return is necessary because of an error by Shadow Horizon Press or because the item arrived damaged or defective, we will provide instructions for resolving the issue without requiring you to bear reasonable return-shipping costs.
